Spanning The Sports World

St. Louis, Missouri—The Kansas City Chiefs have traded WR Dante Hall to the Rams for a fifth round pick. The two teams will also swap third round picks in the trade.

Dallas, Texas—The Mavs and Warriors are now tied at 1 game a piece after a 112, 99 Dallas victory. With only 0.2 seconds left in the third quarter, Golden State guard Baron Davis was ejected, followed by teammate Stephen Jackson, who was tossed with 4:34 left in the fourth. Before his ejection, Jackson had already tallied a game high thirty points, while Davis had only scored 13. Before Wednesday’s win the Warriors had owned six straight victories over Dallas.

Cleveland, Ohio—The Cavilers now own a 2-0 series lead over the Wizards, sweeping there first two home games. The Cavs took a seven point win over Washington last night, behind 27 from LeBron, and 24 from Drew Gooden.

San Antonio, Texas—The Spurs have evened their series with the Nuggets at 1-1 despite a 26 point effort from Denver’s Carmello Anthony. At one point down 15, the Nuggets came charging back to cut the Spur’s lead to single digits, until Tim Duncan’s clutch jump hook, which was crucial in the 97-88 victory.

Raleigh, NC—The N.C. State Wolfpack have signed AD Lee Fowler to a contract extension that will carry out into 2013.

New York– Yankee Pitcher Phillip Hughes will try to improve the horrible Yankee pitching tonight, as the NYY face off with the Blue Jays.

    Update-

    New York-Hughes had a bad first start since he only lasted 4 1/3 innings. He got the lost, but had 5 ks and only 1 walk. If the Yankees were playing in this game like they have been the whole season on offense, Hughes would of got a win and the final would of been 7 or 8 to 6.
