Spurs take scrappy game three at home

San Antonio, TX– Following the Suns’ Amere Stoudemire’s thoughts that the Spurs were’dirty’, he was booed many times by the hometown San Antonio fans, and Saturday’s game3 was played more physical than either of the first two. The Suns hung around in the first half although neither Stoudamire nor Steve Nash played for a large portion of the first two quarters, finishing the half, down, 55-53. In half number two, Tim Duncan worked his way out of numerous seemingly impossible situations, scoring 33, blocking 3 shots, and grabbing 19 boards. For the most part of the fourth, the Spurs led by, double digits, yet the Suns kept shaving the lead down to single digits, but finally being put away by 7, 108-101. Forward Shawn Marion led all Suns with 26,and fellow All-NBAers Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash boasted 21 and 16 points respectively in Phoenix’s game three losing effort.
